We live in a time and place where money and those with it hold power. Marginalized groups have been protesting the inequality of such discrepancy for generations. Have the ways in which we’ve opposed these forces worked for most of us, queer outcasts and scapegoats? Are there patterns we’re not seeing in the way we can approach it? Is it time to adorn ourselves with Robin Hood capes and hats and enter the Palaces that are not made of trash? Is it time to exorcise the imposter syndrome socially assigned to us? It’s time to bring the trash to the Palace. We need not demand, we need only to dance for rain.
